Fuquay-Varina is two downtowns grown together: Fuquay Springs with its old mineral spring park, and Varina's brick strip along the rail line, with NC-55, NC-42, and US-401 crossing through. It's one of the fastest-growing towns in Wake County, and subdivisions run miles past where town used to end.
That growth shapes the work. Builders keep debris moving off new sites, the ranch homes from the 60s and 70s get kitchens and roofs redone one street at a time, and older properties toward Kipling and Duncan generate cleanouts. It's a short run from the yard, right up NC-42.
Fuquay-Varina is close enough to Willow Spring that the drive barely registers, and what that really buys you is room in the schedule rather than anything else. Size is the question worth thinking about here, because the town has two very different kinds of driveway. Around the old Fuquay and Varina cores the lots are tighter and the drives shorter, so a cleanout there usually wants the 10 or the 15-yard, while a build out toward the newer subdivisions can take the 20 without anyone walking sideways past it. The truck for Fuquay-Varina normally rolls from the Willow Spring yard, a run of about 10 miles, and comes in on US 401, NC 42 and NC 55. The same routes take in Willow Spring, Holly Springs and Angier, which is why Logan asks for the street address instead of the town name when you book.
