Apex keeps its historic downtown on Salem Street in good shape, while NC-55 and US-64 feed the growth that earned it national fastest-growing-town headlines. Beaver Creek and the greenways thread through subdivisions old enough to need work.
The first waves of Apex subdivisions have hit remodel age, so kitchen guts and flooring pulls are regular calls, alongside roofs by the street as those neighborhoods re-shingle. New construction on the west side keeps builder dumpsters in rotation too.
Apex splits into two placement conversations depending on where you are. Near Salem Street the lots are narrow and the houses sit close to the sidewalk, so we'd rather hear on the phone whether the dumpster is going in the drive or around back than find out on delivery morning. Around back is almost always the easier answer. Out on the west side there's open ground and the question turns into timing instead: a remodel that produces debris in waves is usually better served by one dumpster pulled and replaced as it fills than by leaving a bigger dumpster sitting half loaded for a month.
Apex normally runs off the Willow Spring yard, about 22 miles out, reached on US 1, US 64 and NC 55. Cary, Holly Springs and Morrisville sit along the same routes, and Logan schedules by address, not by town, so the in-between properties are never a complication.
Most Apex homes date to around 2007, newer stock where cleanouts and finishing projects lead, and the 10 or 15 covers the typical job.
| Dumpster | Dimensions | Included weight | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10-Yard Dumpster | 12 × 8 × 3 ft | 1 ton included | garage cleanouts, small bath tear-outs, deck boards, and yard debris |
| 15-Yard Dumpster | 16 × 8 × 5 ft | 2 tons included | room remodels, flooring pulls, and multi-room cleanouts |
| 20-Yard Dumpster | 16 × 8 × 6 ft | 1 or 2 tons included by rental | full-house cleanouts, roof tear-offs, and kitchen guts |
| Concrete Dumpster | 12 × 7.5 × 2.5 ft | unlimited weight | patio and driveway tear-outs, block walls, and masonry demo |
Call or text (919) 524-4456 for the total and the day.
Start with $299 for the 10-yard. The 15 is $345, the 20 is $395, and concrete loads price from $400, flat across Wake County. The 33 minutes of road between here and the yard is our cost, not a line item. 33 minutes up US 64 covers the delivery, and that trip is already in the price. An address far off the route is the only thing that adds mileage, flagged on the call.
The add-on list is three items long:
On a typical Apex lot the dumpster goes on the driveway. That holds from the in-town streets off US 1 to the rural Wake County properties around them: a flat, firm surface with room to back straight in beats a big one every time.
Tight spot? Text Logan a photo before delivery day.
Door side or garage side is your call to make before delivery, and saying it at booking beats waving from the porch.
Apex is unusually direct about it: the code makes it unlawful to place a storage pod, dumpster or construction materials in or over any street or sidewalk, per the Apex Code of Ordinances, Sec. 18-11. One more reason the driveway is the default answer.

"I had a very good experience with Waste in Wheels. I sent in an online inquiry late in the afternoon and received a call back around 5pm. They gave me a quote over the phone, emailed me a contract, and had my dumpster delivered the next day morning."

Start with $299 for the 10-yard. The 15 is $345, the 20 is $395, and concrete loads price from $400, flat across Wake County. The 33 minutes of road between here and the yard is our cost, not a line item. Over the phone, in one number. Describe the Apex job and Logan will tell you the size that fits and what the full cost costs, with delivery, pickup, and the dump fee included. Nothing shows up on the invoice that wasn't said on the call.
No. Your Apex driveway is private property, and private-property placement needs nobody's sign-off in Wake County or anywhere else we deliver. Street placement, parking one on US 64 itself, is the thing that brings a town's right-of-way rules into play, and we simply don't do it. Stuck without a driveway? Talk to Logan before delivery day.
Yes, and Apex yard jobs are some of the easiest to size. Limbs, brush, leaves, and storm debris are all fine, from an in-town lot to Wake County acreage, and yard waste is bulky rather than heavy, so it fills the space long before it reaches the included tonnage. Size for volume, not weight.
Us, measured by road rather than by map pin. Apex is about 22 miles from our Willow Spring yard, out on NC 55, and that stretch is one we drive week in and week out. What decides a dumpster price is whether a truck already passes your address, and in Apex it does.
dumpster rental in Cary, dumpster rental in Holly Springs, and Morrisville are all on the same US 1 routes as Apex, so a job sitting between towns makes no difference to the quote. Give Logan the address rather than the town and she'll place it exactly.
They do. The trips that serve Apex also carry Raleigh, Fuquay-Varina, Holly Springs, Garner, Cary, Morrisville, and 5 more, and the Wake County page shows everywhere else in Wake County we go. An address anywhere on that map quotes exactly the same way.
The Willow Spring yard: Apex sits on US 1 in Wake County, about 22 miles from it. We keep two yards, Willow Spring and Kenly, so neither end of the area waits behind the other, and both trucks cross over when the day calls for it. The address is what sets the route, not the county line.
Yes. Online service request or Ask Apex at 919-249-3311; a scheduled day comes by email in 1 to 2 business days. $30 trip for one or two items, $15 per item at three or more, $45 minimum for mattress pickups. It suits a piece or two; a cleanout or remodel load is dumpster territory, and no construction or remodeling material, including toilets, vanities, mirrors and cabinets; no yard waste.

Apex's own service: Online service request or Ask Apex at 919-249-3311; a scheduled day comes by email in 1 to 2 business days. Good for a chair or a mattress. A remodel's worth of debris wants the other column.

A two-thousands-era town that is strongly owner occupied produces exactly the loads the table predicts.
| Fact | Apex, NC | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Median year built | 2007 | Finishing work and outdoor projects rather than tear-out. |
| Housing units | 25,148 | A large town of subdivisions. |
| Owner occupied | 75.3% | Owner occupied, so it is remodels, garages and clearing to sell. |
| Median home value | $514,800 | Larger renovations where the dumpster is a small line item. |

From the yard in Willow Spring it is about 22 miles by road to Apex, around 33 minutes, and the flat rate already covers the trip both ways.
Apex addresses fall in 27502 and 27539, and we deliver to all of them. A Wake County address just past the line usually still works, so ask.
Driveway, jobsite, or lot. If your address sits off US 1, US 64 and NC 55, or on the Wake County back roads in between, it is already on the route.
Call or text (919) 524-4456, or book online. The truck comes up NC 55 from the Willow Spring yard, about 33 minutes out.
